1907 GRIFFON VENDEEN hunting dog — 117-Year-Old Lithography Print from Antique French Animal Book

This 1907 lithography print captures a Griffon Vendeen hunting dog with the scientific precision and artistic grace characteristic of Jean Baptiste Samat's landmark work "Dogs, Game and Their Enemies." Measuring 11.75 x 7.5 inches, the print is an authentic original from the antique French volume—not a reproduction—and reflects Samat's meticulous study of hunting breeds and their natural behaviors. A striking piece for collectors of vintage wildlife art and natural history, it arrives with its original protective tissue guard bearing detailed information about the subject.
