A Bitossi ceramic vase from the early 21st century.

Bitossi was one of the most significant Italian ceramic manufacturers of the later 20th century. After a period of decline as tastes shifted, the brand re-emerged in the early 2000s with a renewed design language — less brutalist than before, combining playfulness with refined forms. This jade green vase represents the more restrained and elegant side of modern Bitossi production. While clearly contemporary, its color and balanced proportions give it a timeless presence. I have not encountered another identical example. The vase came to me from a neighbor whom I assisted some years ago. In a previous home, it stood in a library window, where a red Chesterfield sofa provided a strong and pleasing contrast. In our current home, we have tried to place it in several settings, but it seems to belong elsewhere. Dimensions: approx. 21 x 15 cm Condition: very good, no damage Carefully packed and shipped.
