Alice Adams, by Booth Tarkington: 1935 Photoplay Edition

This 1935 photoplay edition brings together a Pulitzer Prize–winning novel and Hollywood history. Booth Tarkington's *Alice Adams* is presented here as Grosset & Dunlap released it to coincide with the film adaptation, complete with Katharine Hepburn's image on the dust jacket. The red cloth hardcover shows pleasant signs of age and reading, with the dust jacket now protected in Mylar—a lovely collectible for admirers of early twentieth-century American literature and vintage cinema.
