antik orient Massivholz Landhaus Bauernschrank Hochzeit Truhe Kiste aus Nuristan Afghanistan 19 Jh. Nr:22/D

This 19th-century Nuristani chest from Afghanistan is a handcrafted wooden storage piece, originally used for food provisions and dowry items in wealthy nomadic households. Hand-carved from solid wood with intricate details throughout, it measures approximately 60cm wide, 26cm high, and 36cm deep, and has been fully restored. Each piece is genuinely unique artisanal work, with natural age marks in the wood that attest to its authenticity rather than diminish it—a distinctive quality of handmade orientalist craftsmanship.
