From Google: "An Ernst Wahliss Turn-Teplitz Art Nouveau 2-handled covered bowl is a highly collectible piece of Bohemian porcelain, typically produced between 1894 and 1918. These items, often featuring flowing, organic forms, hand-painted floral motifs, or, for, figural decorations with gilt accents, represent the high-quality craftsmanship of the Turn-Teplitz region in Austria-Hungary. Key details about Ernst Wahliss porcelain: Maker: Ernst Wahliss (Wien-Teplitz) produced porcelain that was often characterized by Art Nouveau and Jugendstil styles, including figural, floral, and iridescent designs. Region: The items are from the Turn-Teplitz region in Bohemia (now Czech Republic), which was a major center for pottery production in the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Period: Most, including the two-handled pieces, date from roughly 1894 to 1918, during the height of the Art Nouveau movement." Please note there is in very small chip on the outside rim - see photos. There is also wearing of the gold on the rim and handles - see photos. This item is in good clean pre-owned condition with not repairs or crazing except as disclosed above. Thanks for looking & have a Great Day!
