Antique (Nov. 1920) ) St. Nicholas for Boys and Girls - Magazine for Children- Stories, Poems, Puzzles, Articles, Ads, Contests, etc.

St. Nicholas. a magazine for children aged 5-18 is filled with stories, articles, songs, games, and puzzles for children. It is highly illustrated and contains so many interesting things I really couldn’t capture it all in the photos I took. It provides a great look at children in the early part of the last century through the material they read. This issue, Nov. 1920, contains an article about football, Christmas lists, reading lists, and the monthly St. Nicholas League which presents poems and other creative works from its contest winners. This magazine is in decent shape for its age. The cover is loosely attached to the magazine. The spine is worn, there is a small tear on the cover and there is a stain on the inside page near the binding which goes thru a small bunch of pages. Other than that, the pages inside are pretty perfect and the magazine is stilll very readable.
