Banksy's “The Girl with the Balloons” Distortion Palestine Flags Design Stone Art

The beautiful Banksy's design of "The Girl with the Balloons” Distortion Palestine Flags Design on real Turkish Stone. ‘The Girl with the Balloons’, as it is situated on the Palestinian side of the West Bank wall, could represent hope; hope that one day the Palestinians will be able to overcome the segregation imposed by the barrier that stands in their way. Also, it is clear that the girl is a child perhaps signifying that it will be the children who will overcome these obstacles in the future, where they will finally be able to escape the prison to which they are now confined. We see the Keffiyeh pattern in this piece which is probably one of the best symbol’s representing and recognising the Palestinian cause and reality This piece exhibits a disintegrating flag given to the Palestinians by the Colonialists powers who had distorted and divided Muslims. The distortion and erosion of the flag and the emergence of the Keffiyeh is a sign of the dismantling of the colonialist narrative and empowerment of the Palestinians.
