This is a stunning French micro beaded vintage purse, created by FREDDY PARIS. It features an intricate, subtle floral and swirled pattern made with black micro seed beads on both the front and back of the bag. The purse is a soft, plush style, with a gorgeous hinged rollover closure, made of gold tone metal, decorated with black micro beaded patterns. The gold metal frame has a fully beaded strap (13 inches total length) to hold the bag with, or you could also use the bag as a clutch. It closes with the rollover hinged gold metal top clasp. The gold frame hinged frame allows you to fully open it, as shown in the photos. It has a designer label on one of the side pockets, FREDDY, 10 Rue Auber – PARIS, TEL. RIC 78 08. The interior of the purse is fully lined in black satiny fabric. It has two interior side pockets with gold trim at the top, which run almost the entire length of the bag. The interior is clean, with no stains or odors inside the purse. Between the luxurious texture of the exterior intricate decorative beading and the beautiful closure, it is a treat for both the eyes and to hold in your hands. It is the perfect accessory for the holidays, theater, anniversary, wedding, or that special evening out. I purchased this purse as part of an estate from a woman who owned an antique store and was a collector of purses, jewelry and vintage treasures for her entire life. She believed it was from the 1920s – 1930s. Approximate measurements: • Height: 6 ½ inches • Width: 11 ½ inches • Depth: 2 ½ inches • Length of strap: 13 inches, total length (5 inches drop) CONDITION: Very good vintage condition. The outside of the body of the purse looks lovely; all beadwork appears to be there. There are no rips or tears on the exterior or interior of the purse. The only issues to note are a few very small spots on the strap where a few of the micro beads are missing. There is also a row on the clasp (see photos) where is looks like a few micro seed beads are missing. These issues are reflected in the price. This is a vintage item, and has been gently used. I have done my best to describe the item, but it is possible that a small defect could have escaped my notice.
