Bomarzo quarter tone opera Ginastera LP CBS 32 31 0006

This three-record boxed set captures Alberto Ginastera's avant-garde opera Bomarzo in its full stereo glory, a landmark recording from CBS that showcases the Argentine composer's bold use of quarter tones—microtonal intervals that fall between the notes of traditional Western scales. For collectors of classical music and experimental composition, this vintage pressing in very good-plus condition offers access to one of the twentieth century's most audaciously unconventional operatic works. A substantial and rewarding addition to any serious music collection.
