CECIL KEELING Lithograph 1953 'The Yale of Beaufort' Heraldic Beast

This 1953 lithograph by Cecil Keeling depicts the Yale of Beaufort, one of the heraldic beasts commissioned for Queen Elizabeth II's coronation. Part of a celebrated series illustrated by Keeling and Edward Bawden and published by Newman Neame Ltd., the print is signed in the plate and remains in very good condition with unfaded colors, showing only the gentle marks of age expected from decades spent bound in its original publication. At approximately 11 by 8 inches, it's a lovely piece of British royal and artistic history for collectors of vintage prints and heraldic imagery.
