It’s in GOOD + condition with the publisher's gold printed covers and white comb binding. The title page has been clipped at the top where it looks like they cut the name away. The cover shows some normal shelf/age/reading wear. The comb binding is intact and the pages turn freely. There are some notes on pg 46. (see photos) This is an Original! This is NOT a facsimile and NOT exlibrary copy. **Bonus- ORIGINAL ICD-9-CM Classification Mimeograph or Ditto (not sure, the smell is gone) copy handout. This list of codes was used for diagnosing drug dependence and abuse in the 1970s. DSM-II * It provided descriptions, symptoms, and criteria for diagnosing mental health conditions. 
 * It established a common language for clinicians and researchers and a reliable diagnoses and research on mental disorders. 
 * The DSM-II eliminated the term "reaction" which was present in the first edition.  * The second edition of the DSM is famous for its revision in 1974, when homosexuality was finally excluded as a "sexual deviation," chiefly due to the efforts of gay activists. This second printing still contains the entry for homosexuality. LGBTQIA+ * The latest version is the DSM-5-TR, updated in 2022 I try to detail the book’s condition in the photos.
