Durango Orange Marigold, 25 seeds. Dwarf French Marigold. Attracts pollinators.

Durango Orange Marigold seeds produce a popular annual French Marigold variety, known for its compact size, BIG flowers, robust growth and stunning, deep orange, velvety blooms with bright orange centers. This award-winning variety is highly valued for its prolific flowering habit that provides a vibrant pop of continuous color all summer long. The flowers average 2 inches across! But, the plant stays a compact height of 8-10 inches! The perfect plant to add to your veggie garden (to repel certain bugs) or on the edge of your garden beds. Be sure to plant them in full sun. They will thank you with masses of beautiful flowers. You will love them! The bees, butterflies and beneficial insects love them as well. Deadheading spent blooms is not strictly necessary for this self-cleaning variety, but it can help maintain a tidy appearance and encourage maximum flower production. *****This listing is for the Orange variety of Durango Marigold. Be sure and check out my listings for Durango Flame, Durango Red, Durango Yellow and Durango Mixed colors.***** Germination: Marigold are really easy to germinate. Start them indoors 4-6 weeks before the last frost by planting the seed about 1/4" into a good quality germination mix. Keep moist until germination, which usually takes 4-7 days. Transplant after all danger of frost has passed. Or direct sow outdoors after all danger of frost. Non-GMO
