A gorgeous Emma Bridgewater hand decorated spongeware Colourful Poppies Flowers 40 Years First Quality Half Pint Porcelain tankard Mug. Part of her Flowers series. Emma Bridgewater is world famous for her whimsical iconic spongeware designs and this Poppies mug is so attractive. The text “Poppies” is repeated in pink around the inside rim. Has not been used and still has the retail and inspection labels on the base. The cream-coloured stoneware mug is covered in vibrant different brightly coloured red, orange and yellow poppies, flowers that symbolise peace and hope for many. Poppies are a wonderful sight during summer, popping up in gardens and the countryside. The mug you receive may not be the exact one in the photo, but same design, size, shape and condition as I have a few of these items in stock at present. The mug is 9.5 cm (3 3/4 in) high, with a diameter of 8.5 cm (3 1/4 in). Holds 300 ml (10 fl oz / 1/2 Pint). Highly collectible, this gorgeous Poppies Half Pint mug is in excellent condition with no cracks, crazing or visible scratches. Has not been used as still has the retail and inspection labels.
