Fiddlestrings by Marguerite de Angeli, 1974 Hardback, Published by Doubleday, Marked First Edition, Eleven Year Old Violinist Child Musician

This is a precious story - Fiddlestrings by Marguerite de Angeli, published by Doubleday in 1974, and it's a marked First Edition. From the front flap of the dust jacket: "When Dailey de Angeli gets his great grandfather's violin for his birthday, he knows he must practice hard so that he can become a great musician. But for an eleven-year-old, life is full of many exciting distractions. How can Daily ever find the time to learn his scales and still have fun during the summer as other boys do?" I believe this is the story of her husband's boyhood. This book is like new except for expected wear on the dust jacket! 9.5" x 6.5"
