Frosty the Snow Man A Big Golden Book

This is an oversized vintage copy of the beloved Frosty the Snowman by Big Golden Books (12.75" x 9.5"). Eighth printing, 1971.) Frosty the Snow Man was born in 1950 as the subject of a phonograph record, and soon after appeared in many different forms. A motion picture about him has been shown frequently on television, and there are Frosty toys, shirts, and games. He has been in numerious Thanksgiving Day and Christmas parades. Unlike other snow men, he is at home even in the warmest parts of the United States. This book was adapted from the song of the same name, retold by Annie North Bedford and beautifully illustrated by Corinne Malvern. This book is in good vintage condition, with wear and tear on the spine and boards. Former owners' names are written on the inside and there is a .75" tear in the side of the title page. The illustrations are absolutely fabulous and would be great for use in crafting/decoupage, etc.
