This reed is known for its characteristic chocolate colour but also for its light weight and hardness making it ideal material for Arabic calligraphy pens. Pens are expertly cut producing sharp lines without a frequent need to re-cut the nib. To increase the time between cuts, use water-based inks and always clean the nib after use.
