Handmade Ottoman Mehteran Band: Historical Musical Ensemble, Set of 8

This handmade set of eight figures depicts the Mehteran Band, one of the world's oldest military ensembles, which accompanied Ottoman armies and continues to represent a bridge to Turkey's rich cultural heritage. Each figurine is individually crafted from hardened dough over approximately ten days, bearing the artist's fingerprints as evidence of its handmade quality. The set captures the band's traditional instruments—drums, zurnas, cymbals, and horns—frozen in the energetic poses that defined their powerful, rhythmic performances.
