It is a black wool felt pill box style hat, covered completely around the circumference of the wide brim with overlapping luminous feathers in various shades of green and brown. For added drama, at the back of the hat the feathers swirl out somewhat. The inside of the hat is black wool. The headband is black grosgrain ribbon. The fashionable creation would make a wonderful addition to your vintage hat collection. It is an amazing piece of wearable art. Inside the hatband is attached the maker’s mark tag which shows: MYSHA designed by B Michael, Made in the USA. Fiber content: 100% Rabbit Fur Felt. I believe this hat is from either the 1970 or 1980s, based upon its style. It is a quality made designer hat. Measurement: I measured inside the hat at the headband and it measures 22 inches. Measures approximately 3 ½ inches in height. CONDITION: Very good vintage condition. Quality is excellent. The color of the hat itself remains deep and vibrant. It is clean and I see no damage.
