Hegel: Texts and Commentary, edited and translated by Walter Kaufmann | Vintage 1960's softcover

A very good softcover from 1966. Very little wear to the covers and the inside is clean. Walter Kaufmann provides some great commentary and insights into Hegel's difficult, yet important, philosophy. It is highly recommended for readers who find G.W.F. Hegel’s original prose inaccessible but wish to understand his core philosophical contributions. Kaufmann removes many of the linguistic "encumbrances" inherent in Hegel’s notoriously difficult style while remaining faithful to his original meaning. It is widely considered a "masterpiece of concise and erudite interpretation" that allows even philosophical beginners to engage with Hegel's complex metaphysics.
