Description

This vinyl record album includes classics like “Nobody Knows the Trouble I’ve Seen,” “Frankie and Johnny,” and “Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child.” Notes on the record cover state, “There are some who will heatedly argue that Lena Horne is the greatest entertainer in show business today, “ and “The star was born in Brooklyn. At sixteen, she got her first singing job in the chorus of the legendary Cotton Club.” The 10-inch LP (long playing), high fidelity recording also features the Orchestra conducted by Phil Moore, and was released by HIFi Tops in 1958. I don’t have a turntable, and am unable to play it to give an idea of the sound quality. This album was part of my father’s collection, and he took good care of his records. He loved music and we always had music of all genres in playing in our home. Condition: • The vinyl record appears to be in very good condition. Included is the original illustrated cover that shows some wear, but is also in good vintage condition. • Sleeve Condition - label sleeves have some wear due to its age, but minimal. • Please look at the photos as they will give you a good idea of their condition.
