LIFE: The Second Decade, 1946-1955, Hardcover Photography Book

This wonderful, high quality, hardcover book, LIFE: THE SECOND DECADE 1946-1955, is an invaluable photographic addition to the library of any student of history. It is a New York Graphic Society book that accompanied an exhibition organized and circulated by the International Center of Photography. It includes a wide selection of photographs from the pages of LIFE Magazine between 1946 – 1955 of world events and happenings from all over the world, accompanied by short, informative descriptions. This edition was published in 1984, reprinted in 1985, by Little, Brown and Company, Boston. It is 200 pages long. Every page is gorgeous – well designed, with large black and white photographs taken by the best of the world’s photographers, including Margaret Bourke-White, Alfred Eisenstaedt, Robert Capa, Eve Arnold, Cornell Capa, Andreas Feininger, Henri Cartier-Bresson, and W. Eugene Smith, among many others. This book is worthy of giving as a gift for someone else, or yourself. It is a wonderful companion to get lost with for a few hours.
