Maqamat al-Nafs Wall Art | Stations of the Self Islamic Poster (Digital Download)

Maqamat al-Nafs: the seven stations of the self, from the commanding soul to the purified. The classical map of inner ascent as minimalist Islamic wall art. Maqāmāt al-Nafs (مقامات النفس) — the stations of the self. This print sets the seven out as a ladder, numbered from the ground up: the commanding self (al-ammāra), the reproachful (al-lawwāma), the inspired (al-mulhima), the tranquil (al-muṭma'inna), the pleased (al-rāḍiya), the pleasing (al-marḍiyya), and the purified (al-ṣāfiya) at the top. Three of these are named directly in the Qur'an; the full ascent is the language of the classical spiritual tradition, the one this brand keeps close. Beneath them runs the whole point in one line: the soul ascends by stations, not by leaps. It is a quiet piece of theology to keep on a wall — not a slogan, but a map you can stand in front of and locate yourself on. Set in restrained gold and cream with a fine ruled ladder, in the JusstTees house style. Two colorways included: deep ink for dark walls and gallery frames, warm ivory for lighter rooms. What you'll receive: 2 high-resolution PNG files — ink (dark) and ivory (light) — each 3000 × 4000 px, 3:4 ratio, 300 DPI. Prints crisp from 6×8 up to 18×24 in.
