Moroccan Tile Earrings: Boho Brass Studs with Yellow Glass Beads

These post earrings feature hand prints of green Islamic pottery designs, and dangly antique yellow glass melon beads. Sweet, romantic miniatures, a little smaller than 1cm in diameter, with an antique brass setting. Paying homage to Bakelite and Lucite jewelry of the past, a vintage miniature Islamic pottery design is recreated and printed by me on to 1/16th inch thick plastic. I then carefully coat the tile cabochons in a layers of glassy resin. The result is a tiny lightweight cabochon that looks exactly like a miniature tile- minus the weight, dust, and lead of ceramic. This design is very rustic looking and perfect for the woman who has a Gypsy heart and feet bound for travel!
