Oil Painting by Noah Mendelson, Vintage Signed Landscape, Original

One-of-a-kind, early 2000s oil painting by artist Noah Leaf Mendelson. An example of his early landscapes that can be difficult to find today. Oil on canvas; canvas has gallery edges so does not require framing. Oil pigments have longevity and offer a vibrancy of tone and color. In good vintage condition. No tears or cracks, slight discoloration on back (unseen area) of canvas. The piece is highly original and is signed by the artist. Look closely to see thick layers of paint over delicate washes of softer color. This juxtaposition of thick/bold and soft/delicate gives extra interest. Noah Mendelson strives to create something original with each work – pieces that encapsulate beauty and inspire people to dream and pause. His formal study is in painting and he values the balance between the discipline painting requires and the freedom it allows. His favorite pieces unfold easefully – without preconceived notions – and enter in a space where color, technique and emotion flow. Noah is from Appalachia and has lived in Athens, Georgia, Asia, and the Southwest. He now resides in Mexico where his work has been shown and celebrated at San Miguel de Allende galleries.
