Original Art - Vintage Block Print "Butterfly” w Choice of Frame - Metallic Mixed Media - Artist Francy Blumhagen Salmonberry Studio

A truly unique and one of a kind gift! Vintage original 1998 artwork by artist Francy Kling Blumhagen of Salmonberry Studio (Washington state) which I am offering in your choice of black or rustic frames. This is "Butterfly" featuring a butterfly in black with metallic bright blue & pale purple on metallic copper & burgundy paper. Please check out the close up, it is difficult to photograph and really sparkles in person! Accented with a light blue mat (other colors may be available.) Frames include glass & can stand on a tabletop or come with a metal hanger for the wall. The frame backing is a sturdy hard material, not cheap fiberboard. Each print is attached with archival photo corners, not glued in place. These mixed media block prints, each one individually crafted from start to finish by the artist. Traditional block printing is combined with paint and crayon embellishments and no two are exactly the same. These are printed on tissue thin Japanese paper, hand-painted and torn then each print is applied to a backing paper and signed by the artist. On the reverse side each piece is numbered and there is information about when and where it was made (see photos.) The colors are brighter than they appear in the photos (at least by my monitor settings.) Size: 9″w x 11″ l framed, print is 6.75" l x 4.75" w Delivery: Carefully packaged & sent from eastern TN to your door with no handling fees added. Will be sent via USPS ground advantage insured to save you $$. If you need priority or express please message me prior to purchase. Keats said "A thing of beauty is a joy forever".
