Title : Hamsa #2. The watercolor painting features the Hand of Fatma, also called Hamsa. Hamsa is a popular sign in the Middle East and North Africa, it traditionally protects against the bad luck. I made it more feminine, representing the three stages of life with the grandmother, the mother and the daughter. Painted with watercolor plus additional collage. © Aurore Vigne Original painting, size A4, 21x30 cm. Painted on Steinbach artist quality off white paper.
