Original "Maroger" Oil Painting by Joe McDonnell

This original landscape by New Mexico artist Joe McDonnell employs the Maroger medium, a classical oil painting technique formulated from restoration materials found at the Louvre, combining mastic and beeswax for exceptional depth and luminosity. The work captures a moment in nature rendered with technical precision and emotional resonance. As a vintage piece, it carries the patina of time; please examine the photos closely and reach out with any questions before purchase.
