Palm Leaf Indian Puppets: Handmade Traditional Dolls, Khilona Toys

These handmade palm leaf puppets are crafted using an ancient technique from Odisha, India, where dried leaves are hand-painted and mounted on bamboo sticks. Twist the stick between your fingers and the puppet's limbs animate in delightful motion—a completely plastic-free toy that's gentle on both children and the environment. Each roughly 35cm piece arrives in assorted designs like tigers and jesters, with natural variations that reflect their artisanal origin.
