Pendant and Earrings Set, Sterling Silver, Shiva Eye Shell, Estate Find

This is an elegant and sophisticated parure jewelry set consisting of a necklace pendant and coordinating dangle earrings. Each piece features a natural seashell stone in the center of the pendant and earring, which could be a fossil. Research shows that they may be known as Shiva Eye Shells, Nautilus shells stones, Santa Lucia Stones or Ojo de Santa Lucia. They are set in lovely silver settings. They are the perfect accessory for every day or for an evening out on the town. The necklace pendant does not come with a chain, but is pictured in the photographs with a chain and sculpted silver choker from my jewelry box, so most any chain or neck wire will work to wear this pendant. The earrings are wires for pierced ears. Each piece is signed with “SILVER 925.” The estate provided a bag that came with the jewelry when it was purchased, and on the bag is says, JON THOMAS FINE JEWELRY. They are definitely a quality made jewelry set. These are from an estate. They are from before 2000. Approximate measurements: • Pendant height (with bale): 1 ¼ inches • Pendant only: 7/8-inch height x 7/8-inch width • Earrings (with wire): 1 inch • Earrings charm only: ½ inch height x ½ inch width CONDITION: Very good to excellent vintage condition. No issues to note. The silver remains lovely and shiny. The drop wires on the earrings are in perfect condition. The set appears to be worn very seldom, if at all. This is a vintage set, and has been gently used. I have done my best to describe it, but it is possible that a small defect could have escaped my notice.
