Pendant Necklace, Faux Pearls, Silvery-Gold Rope Chain, 28 Inches Long, Vintage

This is a 28 ½ inch long necklace made of light silvery gold metal twisted rope chain. It features a large center drop faux pearl ball, flanked on each side with dropped faux pearls in a medium and smaller size. The center drop pearl is capped by a textured gold metal cap decoration, which coordinates beautifully with the chain. This necklace is one continuous loop which fits over your head, and it has no closure. It has timeless style and panache It is unsigned, but it is beautifully designed, and quality made vintage costume jewelry. This is not unusual for the time period, and it most likely had a hang tag or was on a placard when originally purchased, which was discarded or lost by its original owner. I purchased this necklace as part of an estate from a woman who owned an antique store and was a collector of vintage jewelry, purses, collectibles, and artwork for her entire life. I believe it is from the 1960s - 1970s. Approximate measurements: • Length: 28 ½ inches • Drop: 13 inches • Height of center pearl ball dangle only: 1 1/8 inch • Height of two side pearl ball dangles only: ¾ inch CONDITION: Good vintage condition. The pearl balls have retained their luster and luminous sheen. The light gold metal chain has retained its shine. The issues to note include that the large center drop pearl has two minor places where the pearl coating is marred and missing (see photos), and the textured cap on the center pearl shows wear and has lost its original gold tone coloring. The price of the necklace reflects these issues. This is a vintage item, and has been gently used. I have done my best to describe it, but it is possible that a small defect could have escaped my notice.
