Ranks of the Elite - Volume Two by Imam Ibn Jawzi

Ranks of the Elite Volume Two is an 800-page collection of biographical narratives by the classical scholar Imam Ibn al-Jawzi, chronicling over 250 figures from Islamic history—beginning with the Prophet's wives and female Companions, then expanding to include exceptional scholars, ascetics, and leaders from Madinah, Makkah, and beyond. Compiled from earlier sources and refined to emphasize substantive accounts over lengthy chains of transmission, this paperback offers readers a curated window into the lives and accomplishments of Muslims known for their knowledge, piety, and scholarship across the early centuries of Islam.
