Rare! Antique 6-strand Handmade Beaded Necklace with India Coin Clasp

Vibrant golden yellow glass or porcelain beads make for a statement necklace. Hand macrame and 1905 King Edward India Anna quarter and loop closure. 6 individual stands with more than 50 handmade beads = more than 300 beads total. Likely a tribal necklace from Nagaland India. Condition is very good for the age – estimated from 1940s. Beads are sturdy and have fine striations and variations showing that they are hand crafted. Approximately 25.5 inches in length unclasped. Can be twisted to wear closer to the neck. Bold bohemian or tribal style in a unique, hard-to-find color!
