Rare Antique Adolf Gross Oil Painting Landscape Thatched Roof House Conservation

This rare oil painting by Austrian turn-of-the-century artist Adolf Gross captures a serene landscape of a thatched-roof house nestled within an open green setting, signed by the artist in the lower right corner. The work measures 11.5 x 15.5 inches unframed and shows water damage with partial board separation and paint loss, though these issues can be stabilized and treated by a conservator. An uncommon example of Gross's scarce body of work, this piece offers collectors an opportunity to acquire authentic early 20th-century European landscape painting.
