Description

This rare vintage chevron bead from Murano's old stock features five distinct layers—white, black, white, orangy red, and dark red—creating the distinctive striped pattern these Venetian trade beads are prized for. Dating to approximately 1985, the barrel-shaped bead measures 32 x 12 mm and is in very good condition, an authentic piece quite different from modern reproductions. Each bead varies slightly, making it a singular addition to any collection of historical beadwork or jewelry making.
