The Red Cheese Pepper is a rare pimento-type heirloom pepper that originally comes from Spain! It's said to have gotten it's name because cheese artisans there would infuse their cheese with it to give it a beautiful unique color and taste. These peppers are short, flattened, and deeply lobed giving them a unique appearance. They are sweet, have extremely thick walls, and a crisp texture making them one of the best for stuffing, though they are also good fresh, pickled, or dried for powder! These plants grow to 18-24" with a 18-20" foliage spread. Very early maturing, with sets of continuous high yields. Peppers hang like ornaments. They are slightly flattened and round, with a 2-3" diameter. Plants have a strong resistance to insects. 20+ seeds See more of our heirloom peppers here… https://www.etsy.com/shop/MountainRiverSeed?ref=seller-platform-mcnav§ion_id=37145536 See the rest of our store here… https://www.etsy.com/shop/MountainRiverSeed Our garden seeds are hand-selected and rigorously tested to ensure you receive only the highest quality seeds.
