Description
This spectacular EISENBERG ICE bracelet features a series of dazzling, prong-set round and emerald-cut, crystal clear rhinestones, with a fabulous decorative center section, set in an articulated, linked, silver-toned metal settings. It features a secure hook clasp and attached, delicate, silver metal safety chain, which closes with a rolling “C” round, spring-back closure. The backside looks to be rhodium plated. EISENBERG ICE refers to a line of costume jewelry known for its sparkling, icy-looking rhinestones, introduced in the 1940s by the Eisenberg & Sons Company. Eisenberg Ice jewelry often used Swarovski crystals and rhodium plating. The term "iced out" is used to describe jewelry completely covered in diamonds, giving it a very sparkly appearance.
This is the perfect vintage accessory for a bride, wedding, prom, an evening out on the town, or to complement a variety of outfits. Add this bracelet to even a simple black dress and you will have instant Grace Kelly glamour, and it is also perfect to throw on with a simple top and jeans.
The bracelet is signed on the underside of the boxed clasp with an etched/stamped in hallmark: "EISENBERG ICE U.S. PAT. PEND." It is also etched with the hallmark “’EISENBERG ICE” with the copyright symbol on the center decorative section of the bracelet.
I purchased this dazzling bracelet as part of an estate from a woman who owned an antique store and collected jewelry, purses, vintage collectibles and artwork for her entire life. Many of the items were NOS (new, old stock), or rarely, if ever, worn. This bracelet appears to be one of these items. I believe it is from the 1950s.
MEASUREMENTS (approximately):
• Bracelet measures (from end to end): 7 ¼ inches in length
CONDITION: Excellent/mint vintage condition. No issues to note. The rhinestones remain sparkling and clear. All the elements in each of the pieces have retained their beautiful and intricate designs and coloration. The metal remains lovely and shiny. The hook clasp is tight and secure. The safety chain remains in perfect condition. The bracelet looks like it was rarely, if ever, worn. This is a vintage item, and has been gently used. I have done my best to describe it, but it is possible that a small defect could have escaped my notice. Please look at the photos, as they will give you a good idea of the overall condition of this vintage treasure.

Information about EISENBERG:
The company originally manufactured clothing when it was founded in 1914 by Jonas Eisenberg. Around 1930 the company made the decision to manufacture jewelry, believing their sales of clothing could be boosted by introducing a complementary line of accessories. Their jewelry line was considered some of the most refined and glamourous costume jewelry ever made. The clothing line was discontinued in 1958. Eisenberg did not use real gemstones or jewels or precious metals, but the company strove to use high quality materials, such as the finest sterling silver and Swarovski Austrian crystals. In the 1940s, their simplest pin would cost more than most people’s weekly salary.
