Description
This is an exceptional three-dimensional, statement jeweled brooch designed and crafted by EISENBERG. It features a multitude of clear ice, round, pear, and marquise-shaped, dazzling, faceted, rhinestones of various sizes. The jewels may be Swarovski Austrian crystals, which were used by Eisenberg for their jewelry. The rhinestones are prong set, which is a sign of its quality craftsmanship. It is made with silver tone metal, which could possibly be rhodium plated, as this manufacturer used. The brooch has a safety rolling C-clasp.
This is the perfect accessory to wear with scarves, on your jacket, sweater, tops or to adorn favorite hats. It would be an amazing accessory for a bride, wedding attire, evening out, or prom. Vintage jewelry made Eisenberg is sought after and highly collectible because they used the highest quality rhinestones and employed exquisite workmanship, which is evident in this brooch. Any vintage lover will be thrilled to add this magnificent brooch to their collection!
It is signed on the back: EISENBERG.
I purchased this brooch as part of an estate from a woman who owned an antique store and was a collector of vintage purses, jewelry, collectibles, and artwork for her entire life. Many of the items from her estate were NOS (new, old stock), or rarely, if ever, worn. I believe it is from the 1950s.
Approximate measurements:
• 2 inches in height x 1 ¾ inches in width
CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition. There are no missing jewels, and they are all shiny, sparkly and look lovely. The rolling clasp and pin are in perfect working condition. The metal setting on the back side of the brooch remains shiny. It appears to be rarely worn. This is a vintage item, and has been gently used. I have done my best to describe it, but it is possible that a small defect could have escaped my notice. Please look at the photos, as they will give you a good idea of the overall condition of this vintage treasure.

Information about EISENBERG:
The company originally manufactured clothing when it was founded in 1914 by Jonas Eisenberg. Around 1930 the company made the decision to manufacture jewelry, believing their sales of clothing could be boosted by introducing a complementary line of accessories. Their jewelry line was considered some of the most refined and glamourous costume jewelry ever made. The clothing line was discontinued in 1958. Eisenberg did not use real gemstones or jewels or precious metals, but the company strove to use high quality materials, such as the finest sterling silver and Swarovski Austrian crystals. In the 1940s, their simplest pin would cost more than most people’s weekly salary.
