Robert W. Kellogg Co. Mail Order Catalog Company, Springfield, Massachusetts, Box of Eight Puzzles, "Things for Yourself -- or to Give Away"

This charming vintage puzzle set from the Robert W. Kellogg Co. features eight identical hour-glass shaped bottles filled with red and blue sticks, each sealed with red wax. The challenge is to separate the colored sticks on either side of the bottle—a tactile brain teaser that works equally well as personal amusement or a distinctive gift. The original box and bottles remain in nearly perfect condition, offering a glimpse into early twentieth-century mail-order novelties.
