Description

Set of 4 Hand carved cannibal forks or "ai cula ni bokola" from the island of Fiji. Approximately 8 inches long and .5 inches wide. Each fork varies slightly in size due to their hand-carved nature. Rounded stem with prongs forming a square shape. Rattan or another natural fiber woven around the gripping area. These conversation starting utensils are surely one of the most interesting items you'll have in your home. Historically referred to as "cannibal forks" these souvenir reproductions symbolize the ceremonial manner in which royal figures in Fijian culture ate. *Pretty, Not Perfect: This vintage find is pre-owned.
