Solar Flare Layered Paper Cut Art | Sun Burst Wall Sculpture | Radiant House Warming Gift

Every snowflake is singular, shaped by its solitary journey through the atmosphere before coming to rest upon the earth. No two follow the same path, and each is formed by the precise conditions it encounters. This remarkable individuality inspires this paper sculpture—an exploration of how journeys and experiences leave their imprint upon us. With this work, I imagined a snow crystal preserving the memories gathered during its descent—a delicate archive frozen within its crystalline heart. That vision unfolds in SOLAR FLARE, where the immense energy of the sun is captured within the geometry of ice. Radiant beams erupt outward from a blazing core, embodying the fierce force and relentless power that surges from within, illuminating everything in its path. As light moves across the 14 intricately cut layers of paper, hidden details emerge and the composition comes vividly to life, transforming ‘SOLAR FLARE’ into a radiant focal point for your personal space. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- MAKING The process begins with studying natural snowflake structures—their symmetry, variation, and inherent geometry—then reinterpreting them into a deliberate, flowing design that balances precision with organic movement. Color is thoughtfully introduced to enhance the concept and visual harmony. The finalized composition is translated into a layered framework, where each level builds depth. Through precise cutting and careful assembly, the design transforms into a three-dimensional form, brought to life by shifting light and shadow. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- DETAILS • Limited Edition: 20 • Dimensions: 6" x 6" x 0.25" (15cm x 15cm x 0.5cm) • Authentication: Certificate of Authenticity included • Framing: Frame shown in images is for representational purposes only.
