Surah Al-Ikhlas Islamic Wall Art | Illuminated Arabic Calligraphy | Tezhip Gold Illumination | Muslim Home Decor Gift

This piece is inspired by the spiritual beauty and timeless elegance of Islamic art traditions. Tazhib (Islamic illumination) is a centuries-old art form known for its intricate details, gold embellishments, and deep spiritual symbolism. This artwork makes a meaningful addition to Islamic home decor and is a thoughtful gift for Ramadan, Eid, weddings, housewarmings, or anyone who appreciates sacred art, Ottoman illumination, and traditional Islamic aesthetics. “Sema (Sky)” is a museum quality fine art print created from my original handmade Tazhib artwork featuring Surah Al-Ikhlas, one of the most beloved and profound chapters of the Qur’an. Surah Ikhlas beautifully expresses the oneness and uniqueness of Allah, carrying a sense of purity, unity, and spiritual peace. The composition combines classical Tazhib techniques with delicate Halkâr shading traditions. The changing techniques, layered background patterns, and shifting colors reflect the everchanging nature of the human journey—moving from one spiritual and emotional state to another while seeking closeness to the Divine. The original artwork was created using handmade paper, gold in yellow, white, and green tones, gouache, and acrylic paint. Every detail was carefully designed by hand, honoring the refined and meditative process of traditional Islamic illumination. Tazhib is an art form that historically adorned Qur’anic manuscripts and sacred texts, requiring immense patience, precision, and spiritual focus.
