This concept is not the same as tracing because the benefits of writing out a surah come from actually thinking about the words you’re spelling. This approach offers more than tracing - it allows for increased focus on what you are memorising because you colour in the ayah that you’re working on, making the memorisation of the Qur’an a relaxing yet deeply engaging process. This concept was born out of the need to get ‘Hands On’ with the Qur’an and make the transition to longer surahs in the Qur’an fun, engaging and inviting. EXTENSIONS: Furthermore, this activity also enables you to map back to the Qur’an because: We are preserving the font and text you see in a Madinah mus’haf. The surahs are laid out just like you’d see them in the mus’haf. The page numbers also match the mus’haf.
