This pendant's design was inspired by an 11th century Fatimid bowl with a hare in the center - at the MET in New York City and the inspiration for our company's logo. We used the bunny/hare motif and created an arabesque ornamental band around it. Also you can wear this pendant as a good luck charm. Throughout history, the hare has been considered a lucky animal in many cultures and a bringer of good luck and prosperity. This is why it appeared on so many designs in the ancient and medieval world. The pendant is a 1.5"x1.5" round shaped, that is made out of sterling silver and finished with rhodium for shine and protection from blackening over time and finally it has some black meenakari enamel work which is commonly used in indian jewelry. The back of the pendant has a beautiful intricate hand textured design. This pendant has a rich and classy look that can be worn on multiple occasions. It works as a statement piece and also as a dainty piece of jewelry for a minimalist personality. The pendant comes on a 20.5" silver chain necklace which can easily be changed.
