The mongol soldier - Author print, horror vacui, Poster, A4, A3, A2 Art Print, Crosshatch, Present idea.

Hi! This is the third of my medieval cat warror... the mongol soldier! With this cat we conclude the list of medieval warriors involved in the conquest of jerusalem (only Byzantines are missing...) Even tho their contribution in Europe was marginal, we have to include them for their expansion in the middle-east during the 13th century. This happens to be the first time I draw a dog... yes, I'm more of a cat lover if this wasn't clear. But I respect dogn if they are trained to behave politely. The quote in the parchment is often attributed to Gengis khan, but it's more likely that this sentence was fabricated by a muslim historian to express the disaster left by mongol army after the invasion of muslim Persia. For a muslim mindset, it surely should have been like a God's punishment. the two symbols enclosing the text are known in Mongolian as соёмбо, it is used to indicate the start of a sentence...
