Under the Double Eagle J. F. Wagner Vintage Piano Sheet Music, Robbins Royal Edition, Robbins Music Corp New York, Rose Cover

Under the Double Eagle by J. F. Wagner, arranged for piano and published as part of the Robbins Royal Edition by Robbins Music Corporation, 799 Seventh Avenue, New York. The cover price was 40 cents. This is one of the best-known military marches in the American band repertoire, here in a piano edition. The cover is printed in slate blue and cream, with a stylized rose spray under a hand-lettered script title and a woven checkerboard-pattern border. The back cover is a full-page advertisement headed "These Are America's Best Modern Piano Folios," promoting Robbins folios by Duke Ellington, Teddy Wilson, Art Tatum, Fats Waller, Vincent Lopez, Rube Bloom, Ted Fiorito, Bob Zurke, and others, with the original prices. It is a nice period snapshot of the swing-era piano folio market. Building a collection?
