A charming and ornate compact from the 1950s, featuring a green enamel guilloche design with a delicate rose centerpiece. This vintage Elgin American piece offers a built-in mirror and compartments for powder and rouge, combining elegance with functionality. Its octagonal shape and gold-toned exterior make it a timeless collectible for beauty enthusiasts. The compact is quite pretty and still has the powder and rouge inside. I am sure neither is any good anymore. Closes and opens with no problems. There is some surface scratches on the gold and wear on the metal rim.
