Vintage Art Deco Swing Handle Lidded Square Biscuit Jar with Removable Clear Glass Insert | Sweet Tooth Antiques | Traditional English Decor

Vintage Art Deco Swing Handle Lidded Square Biscuit Jar with Removable Clear Glass Insert | Sweet Tooth Antiques | Traditional English Decor Does not seem to have a mark, but certainly comes across silver plated. Swing handle stands on its own, but not very well and tends to flop to one side. Feet are not fully even, faded silver plating especially to lid. Adds more character somewhat. We can't detect any chipping to glass insert. The lid does rattle a bit once it's on. Surface patina, scuff and scratch marks throughout- normal and natural wear from over the many years. Has been washed- generally clean, tidy and neat condition. Beautifully and expertly made- incredible old school quality and craftsmanship. Executed with impeccable care, talent and skill. Heavy construction that's structurally sound. Moderate to heavy wear consistent with age. In overall aged and used yet good antique condition.
