Vintage Italian Silk Red Polka Dot Tie. Eye catching tie.

Welcome to my Vintage shop, Cool Junk N Stuff by Neal. For your consideration is a Vintage Barcelino Jacquard necktie. Finely crafted in Italy from 100% pure silk in the late 1980s to early 1990s. Tie features a keeper's loop, hand finished stitching. Keeper's loop is made of same fabric as tie, common of luxury ties. Sophisticated red polka dot pattern woven into a richly textured black jacquard background making this eye-catching tie perfect for upscale Vintage Style, Business attire, and Formal Social events. Very cool tie!!! BRAND: Barcelino ERA: Late 1980s/Early 1990s MATERIAL: 100% Silk PATTERN: Polka Dot CRAFTSMANSHIP: Hand Made. Features a traditionally long unsewn slip-stitch opening on the underside of the tipping. This generous, intentional gap allows the inner wool lining to move freely, preventing the tie from twisting. It is a premium hallmark of authentic, hand-finished Italian neckwear. The slip stitch running down the back of tail is sewn with a single continuous thread. This thread is deliberately left loose and relaxed, rather than pulled taut. (I have learned something new today!) Please view ALL photos for quality and condition. TAGS: Features the original Barcelino Brand label on the blade and a multi-language fabric care tag on the tail. The secondary care tag features a classic era typo reading "HAND MADE INITALY" (Missing space). Online sources say that this is a common manufacturing quirk found on genuine mid to late 20th century Italian export textiles using outsourced, pre-made labels. COLORS: Red and Black CONDITION: Nice, previously owned, Vintage condition. No stains, repairs, holes. Pink tag is an inventory or dry cleaner tag of some sort.
