About the Glass Artist: Jack Spivey is a glass artist based in the Pacific Northwest who creates hand-blown glass items, including specialized glass pens and decorative vessels. In 1998, he took classes from James Minson at Pratt Fine Arts Center in Seattle. During the winter of 2004, he participated in an apprenticeship with Cesare Toffolo in Murano, Italy. His work has been associated with and contributed to the Pilchuck Glass School and the Pratt Fine Arts Center.
