Vintage Japanese Plate. Lustreware Dessert Plate. China Cake Plate. Ceramic. 1940s-1950s. Collectible Asian Porcelain Dinnerware, Gift.

This charming Japanese plate, with its lakeside scene of tree, grass, and white swans, employs hues of orange with an iridescent blue band--a traditional Japanese scene. This lovely vintage plate can be used for dining purposes or just for looks, a lovely accent hanging on the wall or set in a trivet for display. The mark on the back of this plate, the Triple Leaf mark, and the words "Hand Painted-Made in Japan" do not have a definite origin, but may be representative of the Gifu Prefecture in central Japan. This plate was produced during the WWII era--before or after. Measuring 7.25" in diameter, this plate is in very good vintage condition, no chips or cracks.
